To be fair the OP shoots with an X-100 and so probably has a genuine interest in the camera.

I think the bottom line here on some level is simple as this: people get used to things. This new forum is looking "normal" but a week ago I hated it. After coming from LR, I thought SPP was just horrible but now I'm used to it and embrace its simplicity. In fact the simplicity goes nicely with the camera, there isn't much to do in post. Move a couple of sliders and slightly improve an already very nice photo provided you nailed exposure.

The program never crashes for me but it is slow. Perhaps part of the joy of it is opening the files and seeing that unique Foveon look. That sweetens the pot a little.

The Sigma experience is quirky. The outcome is not quirky, but amazing. The images rock. The X-100 is also quirky in its own ways so this won't be as large a departure as one would imagine.
