Obviously he has not read the manual for D800/e. He likes the D600 over D800 because D600 has e4 custome setting!!? He is wrong. Both D600 & D800/e have the e4 option.

Not the same setting as the D4.  The one he likes (I believe) stops the body from telling the flash if he has set an exposure adjustment in the body.

In any case, his preference is about a single adjustment he likes to use.  He did not offer an opinion as to which camera body has the best IQ or anything else, just this body has a specific adjustment. Big difference.  The OP needs to go back and carefully reread the comment he referenced and stop trying to put words into someone's mouth.

Moose really, really likes to be able to disconnect flash from exposure compensation.  Apparently the D4 was the only Nikon camera with that feature until the D600 came along.

I don't understand belittleling or dissing a well know pro who, by virtue of his work, has more credibility in his little finger than most of the jealous wannabe snapshooters who spend thousands on their gear to post 10k files on facebook.

Just saying.
