Hi,

Indeed a good idea !!

Following is an alternative solution IMO :

You can also assign the base iso value to the fn button ( or iso has a seperate button on higeher level bodies ).

By increasing the base iso to a higher value then the calculated iso value by the auto iso function you will force the camera to use a higher shutterspeed then auto iso will choose with the base iso unaltered.

yeah, it does not really do what I want. Then I'm still stuck at shooting with a unneccessary high ISO when the lighting gets stronger.

Let's hope that the nikonhacker team is able to do some magic
