A quick comparison of Multi Frame NR result on NEX-5R.

I recently bought the NEX-5R camera as a companion to my NEX-7, and the App function is quite interesting. So I want to share some images with you.

*Please forgive my image size, my quota is nearly exploded, So I have to re-size the image and make them accessible.

So when you finish setup the wifi and lgoin with your PS3 account, you can buy apps.

Another way is buy app from their website and transfer the app into your camera.

I choose to buy the MFNR, and here is the interesting part: You buy the app once and it can gives you 10 licenses to any camera associate with your Sony account. I just hope we can reset this limit like Apple itunes do.

When you purchased this app, it's yours and it will be register your current camera into that license limit.

Ok here is the result I get: I took 7 photos, 4 from iso range 1600 to 12800, another 3 with MFNR from 3200 to 12800.

and here is result of MFNR from 3200 to 12800

So maybe if hard for comparison with resized photos, I make a comparison of 100% zoom-in with these:

Left is MFNR, right is normal exposure.

And If I'm right, I see a 2 Ev advantage from MFNR to normal photo.

So is this App worth $5 ? that depends, you still got automatic dumb down scenery of HHT/AMB. So no loss. and here is the video for touch shutter and MFNR :
