The original poster failed to provide a simple straightforward example and comment to make his point. Had he said:

Here is a crop from an a99  [IMAGE]

And, here is the original image [IMAGE]

Now, here are similar samples from a Nikon D800/Canon 5dMkiii. [IMAGES]

Each, at the same focal length, ISO, FStop and shutter speed under similar lighting conditions.

It is abundantly clear that when any story, sound or image is taken out of context (as illustrated above) the reader may, and in fact all too frequently does, arrive at an erroneous conclusion. At that moment emotion supersedes fact— where trolls, fanboys and the like excrete from the woodwork.
