Okay, found a solution at http://www.luminescentphoto.com/blog/2012/04/03/testing-the-nikon-d4-backwards-thinking/. Thanks Jason. Except for on D800 it's f9 not f10. So I got all my directions matching :). Hopefully this will help someone else out.
