Bad 50D reviews?

I think it was mostly disappointment, at the time people were expecting something fantastic, after the very good 40D. The 50D wasn’t very much better, the big improvement came a year later with the 7D. It doesn’t mean the 50D is a bad camera, just a bit of a disappointment compared to expectations. I’d certainly prefer a 50D to my 40D.
