I have to agree with the people who say to get a powerful flash. My wife's a massive Disney enthusiast, so we're there a lot. The visit I brought a big flash with me was a revelation. My photographic goal is get shots of my family smiling at me and doing Disney stuff - scenery photography is usually deleted.  That said a big flash is key for filling in against that strong sun and not having to rearrange the group so that strong shadows aren't all over their faces. There are definitely a lot of indoor spots with low light, but there are also indoor spots with almost studio-strength lighting. While a wide or long lens can let you shoot new things, a kit-telephoto+flash can let you bring home more family keepers. For the record, 99% of the time I'm not "on-assignment" on a vacation I always prefer natural light.
