As a D5100 shooter I am really unhappy about the exclusion of commander from flash as well the shooting speed being limited to 200 with flash. I bought a SB700 and have run into situation where I would love a bit more shooting speed while using flash. The limitation is quite annoying.

I would really have bought the competing Canon camera were it not for the lens choices Nikon has. For example I love my 35mm f1:1.8g.

I also find it silly that they could not include a grid or level.

To me the Canon is better feature wise however the pictures from my D5100 are very satisfying so I have no regrets on the choice. The flash issues are really very annoying though. I personally feel since the competing brands can include these feature Nikon should have them.
