I'm always looking for new background ideas and colors. I printed about 10 different background for this trip, but only used 3 as I didn't care for the other 7 as much as I thought I would.
I'll be trying some new ones soon, and hopefully will be more successful in my good backgrounds vs bad backgrounds competition.

You need the f16+ in order to get the whole bird in focus. With the big lens, you are in the very front of the focal plan and depth is very shallow (4-6"). The background is printed about 10' away. Its printed on paper thus creating the blur. There is very little post going on.
