Macro lens question
Oct 11, 2012

Ok guys i'm using a canon 350D and want to shoot macro with it.I have a canon 50mm compact macro lens (1:2).So i want to turn this lens into a true macro(1:1).I know of 2 ways. The 1st is using the canon ef-25 extension tube and the second adding a close up lens to the front of the lens.So in your opinion which is the better solution.I know for a fact that using the extension tube makes my f increase. What are the pros and cons of both which one should i use.

P.S. Oh yeah the thing is i want a cheap solution so another lens is not an option

Canon EOS 350D (EOS Digital Rebel XT / EOS Kiss Digital N)
