Problems: Read speed of Transcend 600x CF 16gb card

Based on the speeds you are reporting, I suspect a driver issue. Ultimately both cards should be providing faster read speeds (obviously the 600x is of concern at the moment though).

I would do the following:

1. Verify there isn't a new firmware update for either device; if there is, install it and test your speeds again. If there is no firmware update, or the update doesn't fix the issue, move to the next steps.
2. Uninstall the drivers for both the PCI Card & the USB-3 Reader
3. Reboot
4. Install the drivers for the PCI Card
5. Reboot
6. Install the drivers for the USB-3 reader
