The availability of the live histogram when making exposure changes was one of the things already the Minolta A1 and A2 cameras got right, and few cameras since. With my A1 I always used manual mode, one dial for aperture, the other one for shutter speed (no EV compensation needed then, with live histogram). Is there a manual setting on the Nex6 where you can do such a thing, with live histogram, or is this again something only available on the Nex7?

I am sorry to say that the EV compensation and live histogram together is only on the NEX-7. I can't seem to find the setting or how to set the NEX-6 to operate the same way. That is something I really like about the NEX-7 and the NEX-6 took away one of the dial in place of the mode dial, which I don't really care for.
