Buying Fuji in Japan

Actually, except for my first camera, I bought all my cameras in Japan.

People in this thread say the prices in Japan are not better then anywhere else. I cannot agree with it.At least for Europe, because I have no idea about US and Australia.

For example, average price for X-Pro in Europe is around 1700 EUR. In Japan it is about 1100 EUR. The 35mm is 539 EUR vs about 430 EUR. Well, if you do not call the Japanese prices better, then I have no idea what is better for you...;-)

Surprisingly, the grip for X-Pro in Japan is about 10% more expensive than in Europe. The flashed are usually more expensive... You have to be careful and check each article you want beforehand...

It is not only about cameras. Today I checked one customized configuration of Macbook Air. Europe: 1454 EUR, Japan: 1116 EUR...
