D7000 pictures out of focus, please help.

Hi all,

Is the D7K that bad at focusing? I'm only going on the vast number of complaints in this forum.

I use a Pentax K-5 and I certainly have no issue with front or back focusing. It certainly isn't the best at tracking or fast moving subjects but for what I've paid for the camera I'm happy with what I have got.

So, is the issue that D7K users expect too much for what they have paid for? What is basically a consumer camera with functionality that the hardware can't keep up with!

So what I am asking is have Nikon mislead the consumer about the ability of the D7K?
