Hi, new here with P510

When all you folks take these great pictures are you using the auto mode or one of the manual settings, I have always used DSLR`s Canons, sick of packing all the lenses, so bought the P510 nice little camera, I have trouble trying the auto mode always using M,A,S,P,  mostly use A so can change F stop, for depth of field, just wondering what most people on here use, thanks, 50
