Opinions on the Nikkor 20-35 f2.8 D

I am very fond of the 20-35 (and have other options too). I use it as a travel lens, for events, and as a general walk-around lens. I like its pro-level build, its smaller and lighter size when compared to more recent siblings, and good control of distortion (limiting the range to 20 helps keep my images under control when doing event and group photograhy).
