I don't have the cam nor any affiliation with this guy.
I haven't seen this yet, though I'll probably get one here pretty soon. But I want to say that I've bought other Gary Friedman books, and I recommend them as highly as I possibly can. Not only does Gary write with an extremely easy-to-read style, but his books always go well beyond describing how to use the camera -- he explains WHY you would use different settings, as well. Which means that, in the end, you're learning a lot about "photography" itself while you read one of his books.
So, whether you're a novice or an experienced veteran, I think you will both enjoy reading Gary's RX100 book, and you'll learn more about the camera and how to get the best out of it. Again, I recommend it as high as I possibly can, just like any of Gary's other books.
