How to make a K-mount mirrorless tiny

...and still keep 100% compatibility with all K-mount glass with no adapter:

Keep the mirror. But glue it down tight.

Move the sensor to where the prism is on a DSLR.

Presto: No more thick, ungainly body dictated by 45mm K-Mount registration distance +sensor +IBS + circuit board + LCD = 60 cm from flange to outside of LCD.

With my design, you're coming into NEX/ 4/3 territory and can boast the very first compact mirrorless to access the exact same lens line as its full-sized APS-C DSLR counterparts. No need to design funky lenses with scratch-prone rear elements protruding out the back.
