Sensors on the Nex are close to the front of the camera and are open to the environment when the lens is removed attracting passing dust.  The tele lenses ie. 18-55mm kit and 55-210mm E series seem to act like vacuum cleaners sucking in dust from outside.  Using both these lenses produced dust on my sensor.  I now use mainly the Sigma 19 and 30mm as lenses of choice and have had no further problems despite changing them often.

I used the Arctic Buterfly kit to clean the sensor.  Also found no problems in wet cleaning.  Sometimes is takes several passes with the pads to remove the dust.  Getting on in age one can dribble and I made the mistake of blowing dust off with my mouth.  Result was spittle practically glued to the sensor.

Cost of cleaning pads has dropped so look out for cheaper ones on Ebay or Amazon - or it can cost you a bit.  No need to have cleaning done by shop.

Good luck with it.
