I normally shoot aperture priority but as you said, I've found that 1 second gives me a water look that I like so I was shooting shutter priority this time. Much longer and more of the leaves will be blurred due to wind, plus the longer the exposure, the more the water tends to turn into a solid mass of white with little definition.
