2012 LA Auto Show (CA-USA) How to shoot?

I have a kit lens 18-55 and nifty fifty.  T3i.  I am a beginner.  What is the best setting for shoot indoor auto show pictures?  Should i use the 50mm or the kit lens more?  Thanks and appreciated.
