Panasonic would honour a warranty on a camera purchased in another EU country:

I would surprised if other companies didn't at least offer an EU wide warranty. Not to do so might well be an impediment to the free movement of goods (which would be illegal under EU law).
The Nikon warranty is Europe wide ( my Nikon D4, bought in UK, warranty is entitled "Nikon Europe Service Warranty") and their warrant on the web is Europe wide. Similarly the Canon site talks about a Pan European service network. Given EU regulations and competition law I would be surprised if any warranty was country specific rather than EU wide.
