X Series: Focus confirmation?

In MF mode there is an option to select audio confirmation of focus lock. The sound is a short, simple beep. The sound level has three volume settings.

Visual focus confirmation in MF mode is possible by pushing the thumb wheel on the camera back. This gives a 3X electronic zoom. A second press increases the zoom to 10X.  If a fine adjustment is needed you can turn the lens barrel. The newest firmware  makes  manually focusing the fly-by-wire  XF lenses useful.

if you have the finder focus scale enabled, you can see focus on point move. This only confirms the lens has focused Andy that the distance is reasonable. This method is most useful when you use the OVF.
