Sadly I don't use that function for timelapses, but just to take group shoots including myself. Usually the best shoot is the second one...

I think it can be done with the OM-D in some way, maybe combining your trick with a remote shutter control or a rubber band, or using the rubber band with the 2 seconds Self-Timer, but they seems all a bit tricky.

I'm realizing I have a strange connection with my GF1, a camera is more than a technical sheet or sensor measurements. Maybe I'll wait for the announcement of the GX2 before buying the OM-D and the rubber band. (I haven't any hope for IBIS on a Panasonic body)
