SEL35F18 vs SEL24F18Z

I find the 24mm focal length of the Zeiss much more versatile than 35mm. It's wide enough for group and indoor shots and just perfect for street photography. And with the high pixel count of the Nex-7 and excellent sharpness I can use it as a short tele lens via cropping.

The Zeiss doesn't have IS but at 24mm I can get sharp images at shutter speed as low as 1/50s and if you're photographing people that's about as slow as you should go to prevent subject motion blur.
