Could the M Mount have ruined Ricoh's desire to make new modules?

Not trying to be antagonistic just curious, I think that they feel that this module will give most users all that they want, and it probably will, but not all.... So has Ricoh ruined their market all by themselves. If they would make some new modules the answer would be no, but if they stay complacent, well then the writing is on the wall.
