thanks for posting.  Pictures look really sharp, so I guess they did put in a good lens.  Would love to see a low light comparison with the G1X.

However, when you see the D800 pics, it becomes apparent, that there is still some quality difference between a good DSLR and the good p&s....  ...sigh...
