Nikkor 105mm 2.8 VR vs Sigma 180mm 2.8

I've been shooting tiny spider webs when there's fog that will create drops on them. It started as curiosity and it's becoming an obsession... Trying lots of different lighting approaches, under foggy daylight, they don't even look much like water drops, but with a little flash, they turn into jewels.

32mm extension tube on both lenses. With the Sigma images I'm using a Nikon SB900, with the diffuser on, laying on the ground so that I can side light.  With the Nikon lens, I'm using the R1C1 with three flash heads mounted.

The first ones are with the Sigma 180.

This is an 8x10 inch, 240 dpi crop from the following image.

Shot with the Sigma 180mm

Here's another example, 8x10 crop then the full image, shot with the Sigma.

Here's another combo, this time from the Nikkor 105mm VR.

This is the crop

This is the full size

I think both lenses completely rock.
