Spot on. Vindictiveness will attempt to thrive via whatever available tools, and distinguishes not between the petty (binary, and anonymous) and the substantial (where one has to coherently state their thoughts), as long as the intended goal of sniping away at some particular target is perceived to be accomplished.

The essential meaningless of such binary and anonymous knee-jerkism escapes the vindictive - because such eyes, devoid of substantive depth in expression, are fixed only upon an imagined prize of petty one-upmanship and retribution.
