Which prime lens? 35mm 1.8 DX or 50mm 1.8g?

I agree that using exposure plot is a god way to see which FL is the best fit for you. I had both the 50mm 1.8G and the 35mm 1.8G. Both were good lenses and excellent values, but the 50mm FL worked better for me on my DX Camera. Below are examples of both lenses on the D5100.
