ArgyllCMS: shadow details and blue color issues. What I'm doing incorrectly?

I had issues with ArgyllCMS's perceptual profile as well, but really liked the colormetric.  I just used -t r option on colprof  to override the perceptual with relative colormetric.  I am not sure if that will suit your needs.  I just wanted to have a better profile, so it worked for me.

I don't have the hardware to profile, but I didn't have an it8 card and a good scanner.  I ended up using a lot of ink trying to figure out why the output looked so bad before I tried colormetric.  I assumed that the algorithm used for creating the perceptual profile just didn't like my printers color space.
