OT....Please tell me this is not a virus!

Hi all,

Wondered if you could help please?

My PC appears to have gained a mind of its own.

When I select a site with the mouse, it jumps back to a previous site visited.

Trying to open contacts in Outlook and it reverts to the in box or somewhere else.

Tried to search images in windows viewer and as I scrolled down, it jumped back to another folder....

The mouse appears to have acquired a mind of its own...

Desperately hoping not a virus....Any thoughts please. (I am running a scan now)
