I have always been sort of interested in and would like to try a little street photography.  Assuming I decide to keep my recently ordered 5n when it arrives (you can see my other post on this today if interested) what would be a good lens for this?  And is the 5n a good camera for street photography generally?

I would say a lens with an aperture of f/2.8 or faster, and something in the 16-50mm focal range for the 1.5x crop sensor NEX line (24-70mm equiv.).

Personally, I would go for either the 30mm Sigma f/2.8 or wait a couple months and go for the upcoming Sony SEL35F18 if you want something close to what your natural perspective is.
