Kingfisher, heron and a lapwing; FA*600 + K5

Some shots made today, light conditions and air was calm, for optimal conditions; kingfisher came at sunshine though, had a hard time to shoot 600 mm at 1/60

Good example of false colors on the lapwing; amazing to see on different angles the colors change on the feather; yes it is natural

By the way I was in the hide with a Canon guy (7D + 500 f4.5); we compared our images, the Pentax won hands off !! No to speak of the horrible noise the 7D makes at each shot.
