D800 or D600 - please help to choose!

Both are excellent cameras.  I find that to take full advantage of the D800's outstanding sensor, the camera really should be on a tripod.  The D600 returns excellent results handheld.  Of course there are exceptions,  but for me it's studio applications verses field use that differentiate the two cameras.
