Stock Photo software ? VS adobe photoshop elements 9

Hi was wondering because i got a new PC and it has adobe photoshop elements 9 and before i go ahead and intall the canon software on it.
what i am asking if anyone can help is the adobe program better than what canon gives you with your rebel camera for editing photos?
