Hi,
of your images, the last two look to be the best on my (ipad) screen. I might just give the edge to the second from last but it's difficult to judge on this screen.
Coincidentally, I've recently been experimenting with different types of flash diffuser including one for pop-ups over on my blog. I used a Gary Fong puffer on my Sony cameras and it wasn't that great - it didn't fit properly to my a77 as the pop up has been moved forward but the fit to the hot shoe was such I had to sand it down to fit it onto a Sony a55, and there the effect was marginal (but admittedly, better than the pop-up alone). I'm not familiar with the OMD pop-up so depending how a Puffer fits / where the pop up is in relegation to the diffusing plastic, it may be more effective on your camera.
