Might turn out to be a keeper <blush>

Well, since my FZ200 is worth more alive than dead, I took it out today and fired off almost 200 exposures at a kids' indoor event. Must admit it would've been hard to accomplish what I did without the bright lens at long focal length. I came back with enough usable images that I'm still up after midnight cleaning them up (35 keepers so far), and I'll be back at it tomorrow morning recovering more. Shots typically ISO 400, f/2.8, 1/50 second, at a whole wide range of focal lengths from full wide up to 300-400mm equiv. It's enough of a treat to have a camera that'll do 400mm at 1/50 sec thanks to top-notch image stabilization; trying to do that with half the shutter speed (were it not for the f/2.8 lens) might have been a push.

This dog might turn out to be a keeper after all.
