It appears they didn't find obscene pictures on the phone, since the police sent it out for "high tech analysis".

Much ado about nothing, eh?

Just the harassment of an innocent citizen, the seizure of his property,

the invasion of his privacy -- and probably a few thousand dollars in costs

to the system.

Perhaps the person making the complaint should bear some of

the costs his/her paranoia engendered. But many will argue

that it's better to be safe than sorry: What kind of a deviant

would have more interest in protecting individual rights than in protecting

the kiddies from being photographed by strangers in public for, who knows,

what nefarious purpose?

A friend, while reviewing images from my travels in the last

3 months, commented that he preferred my people pictures -- and

wondered why I had so few...
