The sharper jpeg output and the new faster lens that retains high sharpness even at telephoto make the LX7 a clear winner over the previous models in my book. I too hope to see a complete review soon. IQ, wise there are no worries in the 1/1.7" type sensor bracket.
Price is my only gripe. With mirrorless models and SLR kits selling for about the same (discounted), the price seems steep for a small sensor camera.
Thanks Simon. Agree about price but I'm so familiar wiht this model having used the lx3, then the 5, I'm not into making a new learning curve. I also have a nikon d90 + a few lenses for more critical event type work; and seriously considering switching to the d7000 before it's discontinued some day.
