I am sorry.  You are correct. There are improvements.  I should have specified.

The AF with selective lenses seems to be a sore subject.  I do really like Sony finally got 14 bit. That's great. As I understand it, the EVF is the same, but the FF allows some different behavior.  ISO and DR improvements naturally come with the FF sensor.

I like my CF card slot too.

I wan't aware of the auto ISO in M, better bracketing, and the brighter LCD.  I welcome each of those, but to me they aren't huge or distinguishing things, just incremental adjustments.

The D600 has better image quality, wait for DXO, luminous landscape, dpreview and everywhere else. As far as getting the shot or not, I don't think Sony is much better with their lack of lenses than the D600.  And do remember, we are comparing different tiers of cameras.  Although I will say, I absolutely dread leaving IBIS and Zeiss glass.  I am very curious to read know more about the AA filter on the a99 and the colors....
