ofoto cancelled my order
I got this message after placing an order on ofoto
"Dear Ofoto member:
Your order has been cancelled and will not be processed because it
appears to contain copyright-protected images."
I called to find out why and was told that my job "looked professional". I was not flattered. To proceed, I would need to sign a special consent form.
I asked how professional a photo can look before it gets yanked, but was not given a straight answer. I was presumed to be guilty of violating copyright law. In fairness to ofoto, I asked a supervisor to provide free overnight delivery, and he agreed. I still don't think I'll use ofoto ever again. I only used them at all because PhotoAccess credit card processing was down, and I was in a rush.
