Yes. The best choice with regard to getting a 3rd party grip is to not get one. Buy the Nikon grip and you won't have to worry about any number of potential issues that have been discussed over the years regarding backward buttons, wonky operation and potential damage to your body with electrical issues.

Not saying you might not get lucky but I'd rather go for the peace of mind and pay the extra for original equipment thank you.

If money is very tight, then I'd go for a second hand Nikon grip over a new third party grip.
