used the 7D in heavy rain for the first time

I've used my 7D in a few light rains. Not 100% sure I would take it into a full downpour for more than a few minutes, but I'm dead without my kit, so probably I'm overly cautious. Of course, anyone who does should use a weather-sealed lens too, like the OP's 24-105L.
