The X axis? It's the date.
What date was the XP1 first released for sale in Japan?
Actual sale, I can't remember. Pre-orders started on January 25th.
Is "lowest price" actually certified, or is that lowest advertised price from a fly-by-night online source that has no intention of fulfilling the order?
Actual price. I'm sure we could find some companies that would do what you describe here in Japan, but that's never happened to me. If they have stock (which is something they list, too) the price advertised is firm.
