pocket wizard vs photix

i have a set of flex pocket wizard am i am pretty unhappy with them.

they are unreliable (misfire) they are too complex for rapid use, , they don't (with the ac9) do what they are supposed to do on my alien bees, and did i mention they are unreliable, they misfire which is inexcusable..

i am looking at the phottix system...it looks less complex (you don't need a laptop to program it)..an they can do ttl as well as dumb flash... and semi dumb flash by setting the power remotely..

any suggestions?? insights???
