high ISO Astro-landscapes w/ my 5D Mk3

I replaced my 5D Mark II this spring with the new 5D Mark III, in order to increase the dynamic range and lower the noise on my high ISO "NightScape" photos. Both images were shot at ISO 8000, with no noise suppression or filtration other than RAW processing via Adobe Raw Converter v6.7. Both images were one-shot 15-second exposures at f/2.8 with the Canon EF 24mm f/1.4L II lens.

I've been especially impressed with the reduced chroma noise over what I was getting from my Mark II. (These two photos have received over 60,000 views on my Flickr photostream.)
