I suggest some time in the gym building up your shoulders, arms and back.
That thing uses the same body that is used for the full frame 70-200 2.8.
It's a full 3 pounds!
They use the same lens body to save on manufacturing costs.
Problem is it costs you your back.
That aint no deal. Just manufacturing austerity gone bad.
They already had the same lens at half the weight in the previous discontinued version. All they had to do was put better elements in it for a MK2 version, but noooo.
Double the weight and add OS instead, but hey, profit margins are up so what the hey.
Is it just me, or are they any manufacturers that are worthy of our respect these days? I don't see any cept maybe Holga, hey.
