I agree, this would be my ideal 2 lens combo.

I use the 14/2.5, 20/1.7 & 45/1.8 personally, but you will often need to go wider for cityscapes.

On my month long holiday I used the kitlens and wide adapter (not bad, I'm not a pixel peeper), though I would have preferred the 9-18, but couldn't get it for a fair price before I went and my 45mm the most, the 20mm came a close third.
